Laptop RAM

• Dual channel(Multiple RAMs in multiple slots) matters in DDR4 and not DDR5. So it's better to get two RAM stick for laptops with DDR4 but single one for DDR5.
• RAM speed will only be the maximum supported by your system or other RAM. So it's okay to get a higher speed RAM which I recommend since it's easier to resale later but also these are usually cheaper.

DDR5 Laptop RAM

Get single stick with high capacity. No need to use dual channel like in DDR4.

Prefer highest speed, 5600Mhz so that you get good resale value later. If your CPU/motherboard only supports lower speed like 4800Mhz the 5600Mhz RAM will run at a lower speed anyways. And since you have limited slots, prefer higher capacity RAM.
