My unit came with defective USB Dongle and I couldn't use the controllers at all. This
seller tried to deflect and play dumb instead of accepting his own mistake. So I went for a refund It's understandable to ship a defective unit but not
willing to accept your mistake was too much for me. I might not have gone for a refund if the seller didn't
try to weave the way out of it.
You can also order from me as I import in bulk from time to time, please check ShopDetails of my purchase: $20 or ₹1800 in Feb '26
There were more listings for the same product but all had shipping charges 4 times that of the product. this
was the only one whose shipping cost was close to the product price and hence I ordered it.
My purchase details:
Arrived in 22 days to India(854301): (Arrived on 27th Feb 2026. Ordered 5th Feb.)
Summary/Purchase Decision Videos
[Hindi] Purchase Decision Video
If you can just pick up a used PS1 console for the same price of this complete
console, pick that up.:
₹2,000 for this Console
₹150 for USB Adapter
₹400 for AAA rechargable battery
₹300 for Ni-Mh Charger
₹900 for 64GB SD Card(In case some seller actually sends you a 64GB SD Card), it might be needed to keep the original firmware and easily completely clone it. Yes, it can be done on a smaller SD Card but it requires extensive knowledge by which point you might even get your own TV or Raspberry Pi or Android Box/Stick configured in the first place.
==========
₹3750 total
Of course these prices are assuming that the other stuff like the storage which is going through a crisis
right now is a buyable price(this also impacts the SD Card prices above) and also assuming you are getting a
decent enough used console that might last a few years. Well it's not like this is a great system or
something, might as well risk it on something like that.
You might actually get a complete PS1 or better system for this price if you are in the right place(Don't
buy used stuff online in India, offline only and that too from a repair shop like Madhur who picked up a used XBOX Console(because that might play GTA
6) instead).
As long as you arrange a decent brand old or new SD Card, an extra 10W/2A-5V USB Adapter, and recargable
AAA batteries, and an access to a PC to copy new SD Card and put some decent games ont it, it's a
recommendation.
Any game that requires storing data to proceed fruther simply doesn't work with this version as the save
resulsts in an error. Outside game, you can of course save a whole state at any point but the in-game save
options(which a lot of games require to move forward) will result in an error.
Yes, I am aware those above things are too much to ask for but sadly that's what what it is. You have to
keep the price in mind with this.
Having said all that, GB, GBC, GBA, NES/FC, SNES/SFC, MD/Genesis worked without any issues but more
importantely it even ran PS1 games and that is a BIG DEAL.
Detailed Review
The whole point of this console was that it should be plug and play and I can give it to someone with
little knowledge of the product and they should be able to use it and NOT BREAK IT.
It's the same concept I had with GB300 handheld console and why
I preferred it over the famous R36S console simply because the
kids won't be able to break it.
Sure you can purchase a raspberry pi and convert old laptops to playable consoles and heck even use the newer TVs to play the same games but that requires some knowledge of
tech and for sure a kid shold try to do all that as it's a great way to get into tech(that's how I got into
tech) BUT if you just want something to plug and play games(an area where consoles shine), this is the way
to go.
Having said if you do appraochh it as Just Plug and Play, you will ruin the cheap SD Card
that comes with it, so get a new SD card(prices of which are increasing day by day) if you don't already
have one lying around, and then USE A PC to create a backup of the original SD
Card and write the complete data to another SD Card.
Not based on this game stick or this seller purchase but these controllers might be faulty
This M8 or M8 Pro or M15 all seem to be like the same device and in terms of games they can play they all
seem to play upto PS1 only. Other are 2D systems mainly. There are videos online for M8/8pro/15 with an
RK3326 chip which runs PSP and N64 somewhat just like the R36S but I can't
seem to find any new listing on Alibaba that are like that anymore henche I am moving away from M8/M8
Pro/M15 at all.
Cautions: VVI before you buy
If the HDD/SSD prices ever come down to a normal person's level and you can get a used PS1 complete(storage,
controllers and everything) in a decent enough condition consider just picking up used
consoles instead, maybe even a PS2.
Go through Alibaba Mega Blog to make sure you know how to stay safe and
also maybe save some money on your first purchase.
These products are known for abysmal SD Card quality on which the games are stored so it's important to
keep a backup of the original SD Card somewhere.
The horrible price increase of SD Cards means you should take the cost of a new SD Card into
account while buying this.
The two wireless controllers requires small AAA pencil batteries so it's best to buy a rechargable battery. Keep that cost into account if you don't already
have one.
If you don't have an extra USB adpater lying around, keep the cost of a USB adapter into account(I
thinkt 2A will confirm later) I think giving it sufficient power is the crux of it as most people
simply plug the USB into the USB port of the TV which only gives it 0.5A of power where it demands.
These controllers are terrible
Pros/Cons
Pros
PS1: Most games play properly but they are dark and some can be slower than original(More in
cons).PS1 games run properly and other systems are also working without any issues.
Ability to connect any USB controller with it is a huge win as the cheap included controlelrs are not for
everyone.
Neutral
Multi-track BINs can be converted to single BIN file with CD Mage for Windows 1.02.1 beta versionMulti-Track Games can't be loaded as the system only accepts one BIN file for one game and switching
between the CDs is not a solution due to below:
PS1 games can be fixed after doing a small fixMulti Disc Games might still not work due to the issue below and that I guess is enough for me to look
for a different game system for it.
The systems can't save data on the SD Card so a PS system which wants to write data will simply fail and thus
I am guessing any multi-track game will not work.
Cons
PS1: No vibration or analog stick support even with supported games, BIOS and controllers with them.
PS1: All games are dark and if the game has a dark theme like Tomb Raider or Cruasders of Might n Magic,
they are very hard to see and becomes an unplayable experience.
PS1: A few very hard to run games like Crusaders of Magic n Might & Dead or Alive run very slowly or
stuttery.
PS1: A few games like Dynasty Warriors, Rush Hour & NBA in the Zone fail to boot.
Lack of popular titles means you have to add your own games onto it
No auto-populate list which means you have to edit the filelist.xml file manually or with a software
whenever you want to add a game that shows up in the particular system
Only affected my first purchase: These happened with my purchase and these might not happen
with your purchase.
The USB Dongle that came with my unit for the controller has extra stuff inside it so it can't fit any
normal USB port including the one on the Hub which makes them unusable for me.
On my unit 8GB SD Card came in place of 64GB SD Card. Might not be strictly a con since you have to use
another card anyways but it's still misleading.
Refund Case due to manufacturing defect.
Given the cons above I went with full refund without product exchange as the seller was ghosting me after
pretending to not understand the case in direct message.
Just thinking about it, what can he do? He won't send another box or can do anything from there to fix
this manufacturing defect at all. So full refund is the only way forward.
I should have also mentioned the 8GB Card instead of 64GB but that might get the focus away from the
critical issue right now which is I can't use the controllers out of the box. Let's see how Alibaba handles
this and once this product completely becomes mine, I might try to pry open that USB dongle to fix it or
even solder four wires from that to the HUB or something, let's see, because we do need two controllers for
a lot of games.

PS1 is pcsx4all → You need to add original BIOS for in game saves to work.
Games need to be the raw BIN format(single track only) and just renamed to .img or .iso.
It has a few PS1 games but the PS1 Roms in it are either .img or .iso format that can't be opneed with OSFMount or normal mount or even 7z or winrar.
Of course these images don't work at all with any PS1 emulator so I am confused what this all is.
Also, there are folder names of pcsx4all in the SD Card.
Chip
The Chips on the consoles say: HCSEMI A3101 BAAC 2548 LF 010D50001B
And the other one: hynix HS102G63BFA 11C 201A HD1G1681A
Only single-track bin files can be played and they need to be renamed to .img or .iso. DON'T TRANSFER IMG OR
ISO OR CHD FILES directly as they will not boot.
User Manual
Doesn't match with what I reecieved. Mine has USB C not Micro USB.
