Whenever I have seen myself enjoying the more negative side of youtube content it has mostly been about needing the feel to belong to a community, even if the community is about witch-burning.

Social media is simply motivated by one thing, the need to get you hooked so thatt they can show you ads and nothing hooks better than negative content and a need to belong. This is the whole reason for streaming also. maybe I will also talk about it later.
