Quick Delivery Variants

Customzied Variants

In UK, you have to pay £90 for Windows and £120 for Office Home 2024 when you can easily get the same from Microsoft directly and that license will not be tied to the mothearboard of the laptop you're using but to your account.
These license from Laptop Companies are OEM licenses and can't be transferred so it's tied to the current machine.
It's better to get your own license and activate it and when and if needed transfer it to other PCs.
Also, fuck subscriptions and don't get the Microsoft Subscription at all.
Pretty Clear from the title. Get the Wifi 7 as it's only a little more than the Wifi 6.
Don't get any extra software bundles like Adobe or something or any antivirus.
Get the maximum possible battery although I only see 80Whr as standard.
Both cameras are terrible but it's okay to spend a bit more for the less shit one.
Accessories from a laptop brand are usually shit and so stick to reputable brands when it comes to accessories like Mouse, Mouse pads, etc...

The problem as with all the LOQ Intel HX Variants is that the initial models have died a lot (3%+ according to my calculations) and for that reason prefer the newer models of the same. The only way to be sure is to check the box's manufacturing date if getting offline or getting the customized variants from Lenovo directly.

A quick discussion about this variant, since I've recommended it to a lot of people:
✅ CPU is quite good, definitely value for money. In fact on our laptop sheet this CPU is the no.1 value for money at MTFi CPU score of 194 which means for this price of 65k(3050 variant), the CPU gives the best CPU performance.
✅ GPU is also decent. If you want a better GPU than this, you'll have to compromise on the CPU, which we (CSE students) generally don't recommend.
✅ Expandable RAM. It only comes with 12GB initially. Later you will have to buy more RAM: https://www.ni6hant.com/accessories/#laptop-ram
✅ Display covers 100% sRGB. If you want, you can get a 1440p one, but that will cost around 3K extra. That’s more for work than gaming. Still, not strictly necessary.
✅ Customized Lenovo laptop, so it’s fresh stock. It doesn’t have the issue of the initial batch with faulty motherboards. And even if it did →
✅ 3 years of ADP (Accidental Damage Protection) included. If anything goes wrong, Lenovo will diagnose or replace parts. It’s a bit of a hassle, but if you take care of a few things, it shouldn’t be needed.
❌ It has an Intel HX CPU, which can hit 100°C peaks occasionally but will return to normal. If you slightly undervolt it using Lenovo's own app, that will help reduce this concern. But yes, it's an issue.
❌ Because of the Intel HX CPU, don’t expect great battery life. If you run on the iGPU and do some tweaking, you might get 2–3 hours, sometimes 4. But if you use it heavily, especially with the dGPU (Nvidia), it won’t even last an hour. Be ready to plug it wherever you intend to do a lot of work.
