General Tips
Why Manga over Video Entertainment(TV/Movies/YouTube)?
Mainly I wanted to be approachable while I had my now one meal a day.
- When I used to watch Movies/TV/YouTube while eating and anyone made a lot of ruckus nearby, it used to drive me mad because I wanted to focus on what was being said is if there was going to be a test on it and if I didn't answer, I was going to die.
That obsessive compulsive desire to consume video entertainment was something I didn't like in myself. -
It also meant that when my parents(mainly mother) wanted to talk to me when I was eating, I would get irritated and agitated because all I wanted to do was eat in peace for the one meal I have a day.
This compulsion to eat in peace bought everything but peace! And I knew this had to go. - Ideally, you should not do anything other than eating and I completely understand that but this habit has now been formed for decades now to in front of a video entertainment and I already am doing a tons of other things that require willpower and this is not on my priority list at all.
-
Also, No Gaming, No Social Media, No TVs, Movies really help immensely with this.
It had became a deep engrained habit that I would start consuming video entertainment whenever I started eating(especially if that food was junk food), and I would want to eat something because I saw it on the black mirror(TV/Movies/Social Media).

Detective Conan - (Ongoing Series) - Reading #102
Not a good manga! It's just that it was aired on TV back when I was a kid and I started watching the anime online and after 450 episodes I was really invested in it, however this was the beginning of reading in stead of watching something while eating and it's entertaining enough not to disappoint so I don't mind it.
Anyways, I am about to catch up to the current series and since there is a lot of gap between this series, it won't disrupt my other manga which can actually be finished. -
Next: Bakuman (Physical Copy Ready)
Based on my personality of becoming what I consume, this is supposed to the best thing for it, let's see after I am done with Detective Conan.
-
Junji to - Horror collection (On tablet)
Completed
Asobi Asobase - Finished 2026
The later parts which were stories not involved with the three main characters were pretty dull but I really loved the first many parts.
-
Death Note - first half of 2026
Loved the anime back in college and always wanted to read to see what extra stuff was there and was not disappointed.
