Older Review:

Obligatory 10/10 -> Can't review this show due to personal reasons If I watched this show fresh now I would probably rate it less than 5 but when the final few seasons of this show were happening, I was going through my first love thingy... I subconsciously copied so many things from this show and I remember thinking of us as Ted & Robin unlike some friends who watched said we should be Barney & Robin. In the final seasons it really seems like Barney & Robin will be together, but in my head, we were always like Ted & Robin. I am a hopeless romantic or I used to be with that woman and a lot of things happening in this show, I felt really affected by. Rating this show for me is like asking a doctor to perform an operation on his own daughter. I can't, I love it too much. So there it goes. To this day whenever I hear songs from this show especially Walkman the last song, I still cry like a little girl. And if I see little clips of them with songs over them, I still tear up. How can you ask me to rate this show you heartless monster?

Note: After I made this review I decided to watch it again and I am halfway through Season 8 now and I am ready to write a proper review

Proper Review:

2/10 → 2 for Ted & Robin's story minus the parts with their other relationships.

This TV Series should have been about Ted and Robin and should have cut down any extra things from it. Robin's extra character to accomodate for Barney's terrible writing is the reason this show is so so torrible. At most two season is what this show should have been in the first place.

If you remove sexual jokes from the series, there is not much humor left at all. In fact all the jokes are sorrounded around sex and the like.

They talk about Ted being the romantic guy and then we see him doing the exact opposite things when he is alone at a wedding. Why? That's not just Ted by the way. Every character will stop being what they truly are to move the plot in some weird direction forward so that a season can be stretched for one more time.

Adding a bit on the same. Characters will break their defined roles and act like complete idiots or arch-enemies to their best friends because the plot needs to move forward, and then they will add sad piano music over everything to make up for it. It's lazy writing.

It's a dumb show made for people who just consume without thinking at all. I can't believe I liked this show. I should never have listened to what everyone was watching in college that time, Friends, HIMYM, BBT, thankfully I didn't bother with other similar shows like Game of Thrones, Flash and what not. I realize I am not normal if being normal is liking such shows in the first place. There were so many truly great shows to watch and I wasted my time on this. I am finishing this and I am not going to such dumb brain wasted shows back again.

Side Note: Now I understand why such episodic shows are so terrible in the first place. Everything has to be done in one episode and it can't go more than one episode. This dumbs you down significantly. Also, this means you don't get to write proper humour because it won't fit. I have watched Friends and The Big Band theory too and that is the one thing that kept bothering me. Horrible writing and horrible jokes, maybe episodic is the reason for horrible jokes, maybe not, but I am done with these.

4/10 - Amazing movie, if you're less than 9

It's a pretty good movie I would had loved as a 9 year old kid. Any year more than that it's absolute dog poop. I stopped counting the number if plot holes and the ignorance of basic common sense of this movie. It's as if someone played Watch Dogs and wanted to profit from that games popularity.
